The Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy recommends that the Parliament should reject the draft law to amend the Law “On the Principles of Domestic and Foreign Policy” re prevention of legislation violation in the part of domestic and foreign policy

The bill (Reg. No. 1262) suggests amending article 13 of the Law “On the Principles of Domestic and Foreign Policy” determining that “members of the Government, state officials, and diplomatic employees are prohibited to express standing that contradicts the content of this law, while exercising their official duties”.

It was noted that the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat recommends reject the bill, following the results of the first reading.

Committee members also believe that the re is no need to amend the Law “On the Principles of Domestic and Foreign Policy”.
